SAIL Management Trainee Recruitment 2025
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise, has announced the official notification for Management Trainee (Technical) Recruitment 2025 under Advertisement No. HR/REC/C-97/MTT/2025. A total of 124 vacancies are being offered across engineering disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Computer Science, Instrumentation, and Metallurgy.
Eligible engineering graduates can apply online from 15 November 2025 to 05 December 2025.
As one of India’s largest steel producers with a wide network of plants, units, and mines nationwide, SAIL is looking to induct energetic and result-oriented professionals into E-1 Grade. The selection process will comprise a Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by a Group Discussion (GD) and Interview. SAIL Management Trainee 2025 Age Limit
The upper age limit is 28 years as on 05 December 2025.
Relaxations apply as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD: 10–15 years
- Departmental Candidates: Up to 45 years
SAIL Management Trainee 2025 Selection Process
The selection process will comprise three stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Group Discussion (GD)
- Interview
To qualify for the GD and Interview, candidates must secure the required percentile in both sections of the CBT. Shortlisting will be done in a 1:3 ratio (candidates to vacancies).
The final merit list will be prepared based on the following weightage:
- CBT: 75%
- Group Discussion (GD): 10%
- Interview: 15%
