This test is mandatory for candidates seeking teaching positions in Classes I to VIII at central government schools, including KVS, NVS, and other CBSE-affiliated institutions .
The official CTET 2026 notification has been published on the website — www.ctet.nic.in. The examination will be held in offline mode (pen-and-paper format) . Eligible and interested candidates will be able to submit their applications online once the registration window is activated.
